The
Kizikula is a sophisticated, extraordinarily cosmopolitan resort on the remote southern coast of Zanzibar. It was recently featured in Wallpaper* magazine and Architecture Digest. The architecture is creative and geared towards the particular terrain, the distinctive shapes of the buildings are made of locally sourced coral limestone that, in combination with raw concrete, create an extraordinary richness of texture. This is complemented by wooden furniture and local fabrics.
