Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge is a lodge set in lush gardens amidst forests and crystal clear waters on the slopes of Mount Meru. The lodge was carved out of a colonial farmhouse built in the early 20th century and is one of the oldest family-run lodges in Arusha. It offers ten Garden Rooms, two Main House Suites and a three-bedroom Farm Cottage. Each room is furnished with antiques and has a king-size double bed, a separate living area with large sofas, a large bathroom and a veranda. The Lodge boasts an excellent restaurant, a wonderful swimming pool and a small riding stables.
